DAY 1

Arriving Entebbe;

Arrival and overnight at Entebbe, Travelers Inn/Entebbe Golf View Inn, Lake Victoria hotel:
DAY 2

Early morning transfer to Mabamba for the Shoebill.

Drive from Entebbe town in the early morning at 6:00 am to Mabamba wetland 35km distance on earth road the distance takes about 1hr and 30 minutes, we this time because of the road condition is relatively bad. At the wetland you will be paddled in a canoe with local boatman to search for the incredible Shoebill among others. Also look out for other birds including Yellow-billed Duck, Malachite Kingfisher, Blue-breasted Bee-eater, Pink-backed Pelican, African Pygmy Goose, Purple Swamphen, Common Moorhen, Blue-cheeked Bee-eater etc. Leave Mabamba at 11am, for lunch and transfer to lake Mburo National Park via Equator for photographs. Dinner and overnight at Mihingo Lodge/Lake Mburo Safari lodge

Bird Queen Elizabeth National Park

Depart at 6:30 for early morning game drive and birding. Lunch at the lodge and in the afternoon go for the launch trip on the Kazinga Channel, to see a variety of wildlife, hundreds of hippos, crocodile and bird life from a boat. Look out for Pelicans, Green-backed Heron, Yellow-billed Stork, Saddle-billed Stork, African Spoonbill, Martial Eagle, Common Button Quail, Senegal Plover, and Sunbirds among others. Dinner and Overnight Bush Lodge/ Mweya Safari lodge/ Kingfisher lodge/ Kyambura lodge/ Katara lodge.
DAY 10

Transfer to Semliki National Park

After breakfast transfer to Semliki birding en-route through QENP and the northern side of Rwenzori Mountains that are dry Savanna woodland and later bird along the edge of the Park later check in at the lodge in evening. Dinner and overnight at UWA Park Bandas
DAY 11

Full day birding Kirumia Trail, Semliki National Park

After breakfast leaving the lodge at 6:30 am, proceed for a whole day birding on the Kirumia trail. Look for species like ,Nkurengu rail , white tailed lark, Broad tailed Warbler, Compact weaver, Lizard Buzzard ,Long Crested Eagle Brown Snake/Black Chested snake Eagle, Green Backed Eremomela, Pale Flycatcher, Sooty Chat, Black Billed Barbet, Hugline’s Francolin, Black Winged Red bishop, Southern Red bishop, Black Bishop, Whistling Cisticola, Brown Backed Woodpecker, Cabanis’s/Golden Breasted Buntings Orange-cheaked Waxbill, White-crested black Dwarf, Red-Billed Dwarf, Piping and Black-wattled Hornbills, Red-rumped Tinkerbird, Spotted, Lyre-tailed and Zenker’s Honeyguides, African Piculet, Gabon Wood pecker, Red-sided Broadbill, White-throated blue Swallow, Green-tailed Bristlebill, Sassi’s Olive, Xavier’s, Swamp, Simple and Eastern Bearded Greenbuls, Yellow-throated Nicator, Capuchin Babbler, and ,Lemon-bellied Crombec, Red-eyed Puffback, Grant’s blue bill and many more. Dinner and overnight at UWA Park Bandas
DAY 12

Transfer to Kibale NP

After breakfast depart at 6:30 am and bird as we drive towards Queen Elizabeth National Park stopping for lunch at the gardens in Fort Portal. Continue with the drive along the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains through Kasese and crossing the Equator. Look out for birds like Grey-headed Kingfisher, Grey-backed Shrike, Common Fiscal, Starlings, Widowbirds and many more. Transportation time Kibale-Queen Elizabeth NP takes about 8 hours due to birding on the way (150 km). Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Guest House/ Kibale safari lodge/Mountains of the moon hotel/ Kibale forest cottages.
DAY 13

Birding Kibale National Park

After breakfast depart at 6:30am for the park and search for Green-breasted Pitta and lunch at Kanyanchu. Then after lunch bird the vicinity of Kanyanchu. Grey Parrot, Black-billed Turaco, Narina’s Trogon, weavers and many other species of birds. Primates include Chimpanzees, Red Colobus, Blue Monkey, Olive Baboon, Vervet Monkey, and Red-tailed Monkey among others. Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Guest House/ Kibale safari lodge/Mountains of the moon hotel/ Kibale forest cottages.
DAY 14

Transfer to Entebbe International Airport

Early morning transfer back to Entebbe International Airport with en-route birding depending on your time of departure. END OF THE TOUR
